Sage Smudge – Medium

Use Sage to promote wisdom and bring in good luck. It builds emotional strength and may help to heal grief. Magickally it is associated with protection and the granting of wishes. White Sage was also sacred to the Greeks and Romans and has been used for hundreds of years for healing and ceremonial purposes in many cultures throughout the world.

White Sage is also sacred in many Shamanic belief systems and specifically the Native American shamans.  Who use it in ceremonies to purify the body and surroundings.

The Ancient Druids used white sage as a sacred herb, burning it for its medicinal purposes.
Burning white sage releases negative ions – negatively charged ions are most prevalent in natural places, particularly around moving water or after a thunderstorm.

Use White Sage Smudging to rid environments of unbalanced energies, frequencies, and vibrations, restoring equilibrium to the aura and space.

Once done, stub out your smudge stick in sand or a heat resistant container.
